Thursday, July 03, 2003 Weather: Hot & Humid Benthamometer: 11 I know these entries have been pretty crappy the last couple of weeks. But, unless you're new here and haven't read the archives, then you'll know that I didn't expect to be doing this in July anyway. So you get what you get. Nah, I'll be better. I have three whole days to rejuvenate (hooray for federal holidays!). Plus I spent all that time working on my contest entry for The Ludic Log's Guest Column and then I ended up crapping out on that. So those are all of my excuses. I'll attempt something more substantial by the end of today (which is 3 p.m. - again hooray!) but no promises. Ai'ight? posted by [AOK] | 1:43 PM Tuesday, July 01, 2003 Weather: Sunny Benthamometer: 8 The 8 is kind of a surprise considering how annoyed I am today. As a matter of fact, I feel mean. Very mean. I don't feel like being nice to anyone. Everyone is bothering me. Even the office manager who told me I look trim. This morning the receptionist told me I look cheerful and I told her that it was because I was busy bottling up my rage. She hasn't spoken to me since. I don't wonder why my coworkers don't invite me to lunch. Really, I'm not always this annoyed. I did tell HR I was going to take the equivalent of what they owe me for salary in Post-It Notes and company logo pens, so it's possible they will fire me. If I had a 100-year permit that would have worked out really well.
